About the Journal

The Journal of Business Studies (JBS) is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the fields of business administration, ODL, and other relevant disciplines. It serves as a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share innovative insights and empirical findings that contribute to the global business discourse. The Journal of Business Studies, published by the School of Business at Bangladesh Open University, is a peer-reviewed academic journal with over 20 years of publication history. It provides a respected platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share research and insights across disciplines such as Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, ODL, etc. Issued biannually in June and December, the journal is now available in print format and is expected to be available in digital formats, promoting global access and collaboration while advancing knowledge and innovation in business studies.
